During these hours, please keep noise to a minimum in all areas of the hostel, including dormitories, common areas, and outdoor spaces.

Alcohol and Smoking

Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol is not permitted. Excessive drinking and unruly behaviour are strictly prohibited.
Smoking: Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking inside the hostel premises, including dormitories, private rooms, and common areas, is strictly prohibited.

Dormitory Etiquette

Respect for Others: Please be mindful of other guests in shared dormitories. Use headphones when listening to music or watching videos, and keep your personal belongings tidy.
Lights Out: Please turn off personal lights after 10:00 PM and use your reading light if necessary.
Personal Belongings: Store your belongings in the provided lockers. The hostel is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Internet and Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi Access: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel. Please use the internet responsibly and avoid illegal downloads or activities that could harm the network.

Cleanliness

Common Areas: Please keep all common areas clean and tidy. Clean up after yourself in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms.
Rooms: Housekeeping will clean the rooms daily. Please make sure your belongings do not obstruct the cleaning process.

Safety and Security

Valuables: Use the lockers provided to store valuables. The hostel is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Emergencies: In case of an emergency, please contact the front desk immediately. Familiarize yourself with the emergency exits and evacuation procedures.
Prohibited Items: Weapons, illegal substances, and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited on the hostel premises.

Behavior and Conduct

Respect: We ask all guests to treat fellow guests, staff, and the hostel property with respect. Harassment, discrimination, and violence of any kind will not be tolerated.
Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hostel property. The cost of repairs or replacements will be charged to the guest responsible.
Guest Conduct: We reserve the right to ask any guest who fails to comply with these rules or behaves in a manner detrimental to the comfort of others to leave the hostel without a refund.

Pets: Pets are welcome at Utopia Hostel, given prior intimation. Please ensure that they are kept on a leash in common areas and that you clean up after them. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds.
