Cancellation Policy

At Utopia Hostel, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and flexible, ensuring that you have peace of mind when booking with us. Please read the following terms carefully before making your reservation.

• For Individual Bookings:

  • Cancellation Up to 72 Hours Before Check-In: Cancellations made up to 72 hours before the scheduled check-in time (1:00 PM) will receive a full refund.

  • No-Show: If you do not check in on the scheduled date of arrival and have not canceled your booking, your full stay will be charged, and the reservation for the remaining nights will be canceled.

• For Group Bookings (5 or More Rooms/Beds):

  • Cancellation Up to 7 Days Before Check-In: Cancellations made up to 7 days before the scheduled check-in time will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellation Within 7 Days of Check-In: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled check-in time will incur a charge equivalent to 50% of the total booking amount.

  • No-Show: For group bookings, if you do not check in on the scheduled date of arrival and have not canceled your booking, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

• For Non-Refundable Bookings:

  • Bookings made under non-refundable rates are not eligible for a refund, regardless of the cancellation date.

  • The full amount of the reservation will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Cancellation Policy for Promotional Rates:

  • Special promotions and packages may have different cancellation policies. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions provided at the time of booking.

  • If no specific policy is mentioned, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

• Online Cancellations:

  • To cancel your booking online, visit our website and navigate to the "Manage My Booking" section. Enter your booking details and follow the instructions to cancel your reservation.

• Phone Cancellations:

  • You can also cancel your booking by calling our front desk at +918091419848 or +918091419847. Please have your booking reference number ready.

• Processing Time:

  • Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7 to 10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

• Partial Refunds:

  • In cases where partial refunds are applicable, the refund amount will be calculated based on the specific terms outlined in this policy.

• Changing Your Reservation:

  • If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change the dates of your stay), please contact us at least 72 hours before your scheduled check-in. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

• Extensions:

  • If you would like to extend your stay, please inform us as early as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and will be charged at the prevailing rate.

• Unforeseen Circumstances:

  • Utopia Hostel is not liable for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your booking or provide a credit for future stays.
